The ultimate sweet and savory breakfast mash up comes alive at @tupelohoneycafe because they are satisfying any indecisive eaters that can't decided what their morning wake up order is. It takes elements from a classic holiday feast and the beloved chicken and waffle duo. They begin by offering the option of brioche french toast or sweet potato pancakes. They are none for their orange accented cakes that are still light a fluffy with a hint of fall spice from dashes of cinnamon and nutmeg. A top this large stack sits the first salty element of crispy bacon. They have been hit nicely by the flat top but the addition of apple cider allows for the sugars to caramelize into a candied bacon crack. The sprinkling of spiced nuts adds a bit of spice from flavors like cayenne that bring in more of that warming spices that this dish needs. Their iconic fried chicken makes the plate as a @tupelohoneycafe version of chicken and waffles. The batter on the chicken gets crunchy like the edges of a waffles and the pancakes replace the sweetness. The tender chicken could be a meal in it of itself but we aren't made to have it sweetened by this way.

Buffalo or barbecue are an obvious choice for wings, but @ace_eat_serve goes in their own direction with sticky, savory, sweet sauce known as tiger sauce. These wings are absolute beasts when it comes to balanced flavors. With notes of lemongrass, garlic, and chili, the aromatics come through immediately. The thin crunchy layer from the quick fry gets slathered in the sauce and brings multiple layers of texture. Below the surface is steaming chicken that's about to fall from the bone. The bright red sauce is immediately eye catching. People are addicted to these wings that @ace_eat_serve created @wing_alley to serve it up to the masses.

Sherry's Soda Shoppe might be a tongue twister but there's nothing twisted about how well this retro style creamery makes their ice cream and soda. With classics like Sherry's Cherry on the menu since the beginning and seasonal favorites, every stop into the shop is a new chance to try another great combination. Their beloved cherry has chunks of chocolate with brings in a black forest cake flavor or a chocolate bon bon straight from the box. Each scoop is dedicant and creamy, which can cool down a hot day but that's not to say these are not just as enjoyable when the temperature starts to drop. If deciding what flavor at a normal shop is hard, they add layers to every offering. Their cones can be sugar, waffle or even pretzel to counteract the sweetness. Their sodas, as the name implies, shouldn't be missed either. With a boat load, these floats really hit the spot.

A true tribute to Maine could not be accomplished without showcasing sweet buttery lobster stuffed into a New-England style split roll. The rolls are common place up and down the East coast. From a mayo based to drips of brown butter, all rolls are welcome here. Especially the Lobsterado that has an unbelievable amount of lobster that the roll can barely hold it all. It's drenched in a healthy amount of butter that gets soaked up by the bread. This roll is as simple as it gets with lobster, bread and butter as the main ingredients. They fly in all their seafood fresh because they want to make the ocean seem as close as possible. It's not just the ruby red lobster that draws excitement to this place, instead it's the picnic tables that make outdoor dining feel like a backyard barbecue. Fresh or fried, their seafood is unmatched. Their full belly clams get a light dredging that makes for the inner clam to melt in contrast to the crunchy exterior. Steaming is a classic preparation for clams but when these little fried gems hit the tartar sauce, they are addictive. We don't need a flight to the coastline because Maine Shack makes it feel like we are right out on the dock with a sea breeze and crashing waves.

From one bites that radiate flavor is such a small package to dishes that you are lucky enough to get more than one spoonful of leave diners in awe about what will come next on the playlist. Konro takes the concept of restaurants being a snapshot into the kitchen of beloved chefs and turns it on it's head by bringing the kitchen to the front of house. Instead of having a staff, he says that his dynamic group of 4 putting on these dinner parties as his family which makes sense as he is stationed in a small apartment for service instead of a full restaurant. Each course gets more creative as they are emblems of his emotions and memories. His menu is flexible with more courses that could be constructed on site. One that doesn't change often is the ice cream sandwich. The french pastry, canelΓ© has a nice crust that conceals more of a custardy inside. It is cut in half to stuff glistening coffee gelato, which brings in the after dinner espresso mood to life. Finally, on top are dots of salty caramel but Bickelhaupts element of salt comes from crispy chicken skin that he had laying around from previous dishes and then miso to get a sense of umami. The creativity flies in unconventional sorts, which makes it hard to say no to Konro!

Her cheese is hand selected directly from the monger. The smoked gouda has a sharp flavor that pairs well with the sweet spiced pecans. Her crackers are killer with nuts, seeds and dried fruit interwoven in them. We pair it with everything on the platter and definitely top it off with the fig jam! This platters are the life of the party or the perfect accompaniment to a night in watching movies with wine.

Brunch usually calls for Bacon but @roomformilly they are dishing out a huge piece of pork belly. The sous vide cooking process allows the pork to resemble the feeling of barbecue because a knife too excessive for how easily this pork shreds. The addition of apple adds tartness and balances the fattiness of the pork. Instead of incorporating a sauce, only the yolk is left perched on top to create a velvety sauces once broken into. Few ingredients and a small menu is what will make Room for Milly a household name.

Hamachi crudo is broadcasted on menus everywhere, usually it's accompanied by the spice of a jalapeΓ±o, but Uchi is getting more creative than that. The citrus notes in the fish are brought out even more by the addition of the ponzu and segments of fresh orange lying around it. The power of freshness is in full force. Each piece is sliced delicately enough to make it melt in the mouth. This homage to a classic has been done well enough to make the old school jalapeΓ±o not even be missed because the thai chili adds fruity and heat in its place.
