@thaikun is definitely worthy of it's name of tycoon because this kitchen is a powerhouse of flavor as they take traditional thai dishes and add their own spin. Their pad thai begins with tender rice noodles that are coated in a spicy, nutty, and salty sauce. Poached shrimp give a subtle sweetness and offer a bright addition to the dish. They top it off with the crunch of peanuts to bring out that peanut butter flavor that comes through in the sauce. The chilis don't overwhelm the dish, instead it adds an added depth of flavor rather than just heat. A small plate wouldn't do this justice, instead this heaping pile of noodles is exactly what soothes the soul.

Even one gets excited for the weekend and it's easy to at @littleowlcoffee because from Thursday to Monday, they are dishing out doughnuts! The flavors rotate monthly and they pull from latest trends to tried and true classics. Fall will always have an ode to pumpkin spice lattes and ringing in the new year meant cheering with a popped bottle of champagne in doughnut form. They do a basic box that's straight down the middle with chocolate and vanilla but their wild box has featured exotic takes on a sweet treat like an everything bagel slathered with cream cheese. They allow for preorders to begin on Tuesday because only a select few will get their hands on these sugar coated treasures. They even go a little bit wilder with a vegan version to make sure that all people can get a taste.
