These tacos are fresh and carefully put together. Not your traditional taco, but definitely worth trying. The spicy yogurt and spicy garlic butter really make the tacos stand out.

A combination that sounds strange at first, but once you take a bite into that crispy sourdough and taste the tanginess of the balsamic, the sweetness of the strawberries, and the creaminess of the avocado, you will then realize these flavor profiles are soulmates.

Shan Xi Magic Kitchen has redefined Chinese comfort food for me, introducing traditional, handmade wheat noodles from the Shanxi province. The thick noodles swim in a delicate and beefy broth, accompanied by leeks and tender beef. Every bite makes you want more, so be prepared to eat a lot!

This is a spot you'll have to seek out. Tucked away in a strip mall in National City, San Diego, you'll be glad you found it though. $2 tacos that come packed with meats, and a side of 3 different homemade spicy salsas! They also have great caldo and birria. If you're not feeling tacos, not to worry they make pretty tasty-looking pastas and other entrees too (like chicken teriyaki). They do it all here and it just works!
Italian dry salami, house roasted Roma tomatoes, spicy pepperoncini, olive oil infused with house made basil pesto sauce and romaine lettuce on your choice of bread, and we chose a French Baguette!

We were looking for some foreal sandwiches on the West Coast, and boy did we find the spot! The variety of fresh baked breads from Con Pane make it almost impossible to choose, but the hard choices in life usually end up being the best, right? Plus, they've got amazing baked sweets like cinnamon rolls and scones, pair it with an oat milk latte or cappucino, you just can't go wrong with this place!
