Ditching our usual steamboat for @yijiavillage highly recommended by @zhiyong_liu & @yihsiu_tsai - it was so yummyyyyyyy (that we forgot to take a group pic)! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Crabs in two of their signature styles - chilli and salted egg yolk, Dragon beard chicken (้พ้ฌš้›ž), Chai Po Handmade Tofu, Honeydew Prawns...every dish was spectacular in its own! Crabs were plump and fleshy, chicken skin was crispy and meat juicy, chai po was so heavenly with the soft homemade beancurd and honeydew prawns was a unique taste we have not tried before. And of course, we had to start our meal with a lohei. Lohei count of #CNY2020 #2! โœŒ๏ธ

Overall a satisfying meal except for the slowwww service - owells, can't expect too much with that crowd! They serve such awesome food at value prices!

We tried the specialty hotpot BIJIN NABE ็พŽไบบ้‹ @tsukadanojosg_bijinnabe...look at these wobbly golden collagen jelly! Pure rich flavourful and tasty stock that is made by slowly stewing quality chicken bones for more than 8 hours. It's secret recipe originating from the Miyazaki prefecture in Japan. We slurped up every drop of our BIJIN NABE ็พŽไบบ้‹... great for health and beauty or not, this is really big on taste! So proud are they of their soup that they will serve you a cup each from the pot to indulge first, before assisting to add the other fresh ingredients into the milky soup.

Such is their awesome service that we mostly just had to scoop out of the pot to eat! And when we were almost done, an artful plate of dessert jellies was served much to our delight. Nothing fanciful or expensive but the cute bear drawn in choc sauce with a "See You Again" message sure kept our spirits up from the moment we stepped in till our last lick on the plate (guess who? ๐Ÿ˜†) .
We had their set at $25/adult which had a good portion enough to feed 2 more kiddos and all of us stuffed. Go ala carte if you'd like, and try evolved and improved BIJIN NABE flavours like tomato, pumpkin and spinach! Choose your soup base colour - milky, red, orange or green? No matter your choice, Yays to bouncier skin after! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

"Red Sparrow definitely showcases a pretty legitimate bowl of Pho Bo Tai ($18) with a savory broth that's not too herby in taste and has a right level of saltiness to it, as well as slices of beef chuck roll and brisket that are so tender and delicious I could honestly just call for more of just the meat on the side, no kidding. ๐Ÿ˜" - @thefussyfoodie_

"@atlasbarsg isnโ€™t just Singapore best gin bar but also a great spot for high tea - surrounded by opulent art deco interiors๐Ÿ˜ the best part is definitely the gin and tonic jelly - such an interesting adaption their signature into a dessert๐Ÿ‘ the truffle chocolate bourbon is also amazing - the truffle turned savoury to sweet - how!!!!
