These were good standard doughnutsโ€” the old fashioned was great dipped in my coffee, and the long john had a pretty consistent cream filling all the way throughoutโ€” every bite had a nice amount of cream (not many doughnuts can say the same)! Iโ€™d say the stand out, most unique of the bunch, and my favorite, was the apple fritter. It was really bursting with cinnamon and apple flavor, and was a nice change from the texture of an apple fritter that Iโ€™m used toโ€” it wasnโ€™t super crispy or greasy, but almost tasted like a lightly fried and glazed cinnamon apple bread/babka.

Iโ€™ve made it a point to try a number of fried chicken sandwiches across the twin cities. This one is among the best. The bun was light, similar to the texture of a croissant. Just the right amount of Korean flare and heat. The slaw was refreshing. The breading had the perfect amount of crunch but still was light at the same time.
